Console VGM Rips
Console ports of Richard Joseph's titles may have separate music arrangements. Check VGMRips for hardware-native versions; note that console ports sometimes used different composers for the port-specific arrangements.
Licensed Artist Collaborations
Richard Joseph's most celebrated collaboration involved licensed music from Nation XII (the project associated with electronic artist John Foxx) for Gods (1991). This was a landmark in the treatment of game music as a creative artistic product rather than background fill.
- 01 Nation XII / John Foxx - Gods Soundtrack (licensed integration) 1991
- 02 "War!" - Cannon Fodder Opening Theme (Composition: Richard Joseph; Lyrics: Jon Hare) 1993
Betty Boo, Brian May, and Captain Sensible are cited in community sources as additional collaborators from this era; those connections require primary-source verification before further documentation. See the People page.
