Team17 MOD music catalogue

MOD Format — Team17's Amiga soundtracks use the Amiga MOD tracker format, not SID (SID is a Commodore 64 format). Original MOD files are available at The Mod Archive (search by composer or game title). Allister Brimble has also released remastered Amiga recordings at Bandcamp (Amiga Works).

About the Composers

Allister Brimble is the dominant musical voice of Team17's Amiga era. His technique of layering sampled instruments in the Amiga's four-channel MOD format produced soundtracks that felt cinematic given the hardware constraints. The Alien Breed series demanded dark, industrial textures; Superfrog demanded something bouncing and warm. Brimble delivered both convincingly, often within the same release year. His original MOD files are preserved at The Mod Archive; remastered recordings are at Bandcamp.

Bjørn Lynne brought a different sensibility to Worms — cheerful, cartoonish, slightly absurdist. The tone was a deliberate counterpoint to the game's violent premise. Lynne is a prolific Norwegian composer who has worked across games, ambient music, and library music throughout his career. His Worms score remains one of the most recognised in Amiga game history.
