NES Credits - Documentation

Matt Gray's NES-era credits are complicated by documentation failures at Codemasters. Both NES titles were distributed in North America by Camerica - a Canadian company that published Codemasters titles on unlicensed NES cartridges outside the Nintendo licensing system.

Big Nose the Caveman (NES, 1990): The in-game credits list the composer as "Matthew Grey" - the surname misspelled. MobyGames and HVSC STIL attribute the music to Matt Gray.

Ultimate Stuntman (NES, 1990): Gray composed the music but receives no credit anywhere in the game. The attribution is established through MobyGames and HVSC STIL research.

These anomalies are documented in retro video game interviews and Retro Video Gamer magazine coverage. See the interviews page for sourced quotes.
