Konami Visual Identity
Konami’s visual identity evolved from the bold, geometric cabinet artwork of the early arcade era — Scramble’s stark starfield, Frogger’s cheerful road-and-river marquee — through the detailed sprite work of the NES and SNES era. The company’s box art frequently combined dramatic painted illustrations with the hypercolour energy of the 1980s. Contra’s North American box featured two muscular commandos that became one of the most parodied game covers of the era.
