Hubbard's work for Firebird includes Warhawk (1986) - widely voted one of the finest SID compositions ever written - as well as Thrust, I,Ball, and Light Force. His compositions exploited all three SID voices simultaneously, using the chip's envelopes, ring modulation, and sync in ways that remain technically impressive.
